As part of SpringerNature, BMC Endocrine Disorders aims to promote the publication of articles supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We believe that SDG10: Reduced Inequalities, as applied to science is very relevant to the field of Endocrine Disorders. We also believe that health inequities can be reduced with the implementation of the right policies worldwide to protect disadvantaged populations and individuals and that the scientific and medical communities can help inform and shape such policies.
To this effect we have invited Prof George Chroussos and Dr Alexios-Fotios Mentis as Guest Editors to curate a retrospective collection of articles published in BMC Endocrine Disorders related to the topic of: Reducing inequalities in the management of Endocrine Disorders.
