  1. Logistic regression was performed to explore the linear association between uric acid and thyroid nodules. Variables in this model included uric acid per 100 mmol/L, age, sex, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, triglyceride, cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, white blood cell, neutrophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, alanine transaminase, aspartate aminotransferase, total bilirubin, creatinine, and follow-up time.
