- Among the recruited patients, 40% (n = 24) had subclinical hyperthyroid status while majority of the patients accounting for 60% (n = 36) had subclinical hypothyroid status. The gender-wise distribution depicted that both subclinical hyper- and hypothyroid status was preponderant in females, up to 70.83% (n = 17) and 66.67% (n = 24) respectively
