Immunohistochemistry for proteins suspected to be overexpressed in Cushing’s disease. Thirty one human corticotroph pituitary adenomas (PA) were sectioned, stained, and scored (0 to 3+). Respective 3+ PA and negative control normal are presented. POMC (26/31, 83.9%), MAMLD1 (22/31, 70.9%), USP8 (22/31, 70.9%), TBX19 (16/31 50.9%), USP48 (16/31, 50.9%) demonstrated strong (3+) staining. MNX1 (12/31, 38.7%) and RASEF (5/31, 16.2%) displayed less stronger (< 3) staining
