Comparison of SSAO activity in the plasma and aorta from different groups of rats (n = 10). Following AG (25 mg/kg) and 2-BEA (20 mg/kg for) therapy for 8 weeks in the rats, we measured the plasma SSAO (a) and aorta SSAO (b) by HPLC method in the NC, DM, DM + AG, DM + 2-BEA, NC + AG, NC + 2-BEA groups. Results are reported at the mean ± SD. * P < 0.05 νs. NC group, #P < 0.05 vs. DM group
