Serum levels of C-telopeptide of type I collagen (CTX), procollagen type I amino-terminal propeptide (PINP), osteocalcin and plasma levels of glucagon-like peptide 2 (GLP-2) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) during fasting and postprandial conditions before (day 0), immediately after (day 4) and six weeks after (day 42) the broad-spectrum antibiotic cocktail.
