The NO、VEGF and GM-CSF secretion by EPCs in the four groups. a The NO secretion by EPCs was the same in normotensive premenopausal women without diabetes mellitus as that in prehypertensive premenopausal women without diabetes mellitus, but higher than that in normotensive or prehypertensive women with diabetes mellitus. There was no difference in VEGF b or GM-CSF c secretion by EPCs among the four groups. Data are given as mean ± SD (*vs normotension; # vs without DM, n = 20 for each group)
