  1. Hypercholesterolemia, low HDL and undesirable LDL were considered if total cholesterol > 200 mg/dL, HDL cholesterol < 40 mg/dL and LDL cholesterol > 100 mg/dL respectively. Stage 3 CKD was considered as reference for calculating odds for thyroid dysfunction and CVD in stage 4 and stage 5 CKD
